ATLANTA — Greater than 700 Georgia Army National Guard troops will go to North Africa in June for a coaching train in Morocco.
The coaching program can be referred to as “African Lion 21” and it will likely be performed between June 7-18 in Tantan, Morocco.
The train may even take the troops into Tunisia and Senegal, a release said. It’ll embrace 740 Georgia Guard troops out of a complete of about 4,000 U.S. service members and 5,000 members of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, Tunisian Armed Forces, Senegalese Armed Forces, in addition to members from Italy, the UK and the Netherlands.
